Juneau Alaska Photo
Juneau Alaska (pronounced June-oh) is a small community snug in the southeast panhandle of Alaska. Surrounded by sea, mountains, and ice fields, roughly 30,000 adventurous souls call it home. The City and Borough of Juneau is larger than the state of Rhode Island, and is the only landlocked state capital in the United States (Hawaii being waterlocked). This area was originally a favorite fishing area of the Tlingit people, while the city was founded around the discovery of gold in the 1880s. Today the top employers are government, tourism, and mining.

It is great to see that you are able and willing to pick up the camera again and share the Juneau area with the world. I have missed the family. Your pictures now come alive to me after my visit there last summer. Keep the shutter clicking and the great pictures coming. Grandpa T.

The FOG is there and the Sunmore and my daughter Cheri is there too. Super shot. the fog gives many photo ops. MB
