Sitka Black-Tailed Deer

On Friday I took a drive north of town (a.k.a. out the road). Little did I know that they are doing road construction just past the Amalga Bay turn off to Eagle Beach, but once I made it through the construction the scenery was back to normal. After exploring one of the beaches at low tide, I discovered these deer grazing on spring greens near my car.

Visit Camera Critters for more photos of animals and critters.

The sure are watching you too. Maybe they have tiny cameras and take your picture too. Maybe they have a blog called 'Deer Tales'. I must be up too late. LOL MB

They must be appreciating the greens after the winter. Perhaps they think you're after the grass too.

You got a great closeup! They would have run from me.
