What a happy crew! I love your shot of them. This just seems like the epitome of summer and of fun. I'm also thinking that guy with the camera is brave to have it with him in the raft--maybe he put it in a water case. Maybe that trip doesn't go through rapids where he'd get tossed out, though :-).
Keep enjoying this gorgeous high summer. It doesn't get any better than your fair city this time of year. So, so beautiful to look through your lens. -Kim
Juneau Alaska (pronounced June-oh) is a small community snug in the southeast panhandle of Alaska. Surrounded by sea, mountains, and ice fields, roughly 30,000 adventurous souls call it home. The City and Borough of Juneau is larger than the state of Rhode Island, and is the only landlocked state capital in the United States (Hawaii being waterlocked). This area was originally a favorite fishing area of the Tlingit people, while the city was founded around the discovery of gold in the 1880s. Today the top employers are government, tourism, and mining.

Now this is another thing that I haven't tried yet!
Looks like fun! Great environment to go rafting.
Tried it once... and it was awesome!
