With the increase in daylight hours, which is currently 16 hours and 8 minutes, it can make for some very long days. It’s that time of year again, when I should start taking my late morning/early afternoon nap. We’ll gain about 5 minutes a day until the 21st of June.

That's a brilliant skywatch shot. Terrific scattered clouds and colours.
Sydney - City and Suburbs
What beautiful ripply clouds fanning out from the peachy-pale oval patch of sky. Love it. How wonderful to have so many hours of sunlight in a day!
Beautiful shot. I like the fan effect of the 'Johnny Appleseed' clouds. We always called that type of cloud after Johnny appleseed--maybe because it is time to plant apple trees. I don't really know. I also like the sky with Fir trees in the foreground. Our sunrise is 5:42 and sunset is 8:29. About the same as you I think. MB
Gorgeous!! I have always wanted to see Alaska.
Magnificent sky! So beautiful that I can't stopped staring at it. Happy weekend!

Beautiful capture, the colors in the sky are gorgeous! I love you header shot is that Meadenhall Glacier?
Very beautiful. The pine tree outlines contrast the softer clouds - quite lovely.
A mid-day nap sounds good. We won't have such long days as you, but all the same I always love this time of year when the daylight stretches.
Hi Gwyn, the colors of this photo are so beautiful. You are very very clever.
