I love seeing how you captured the whole street scene in the window reflection! That is cool that the shop has glass blocks as their base wall (usually we see tile work in that space in old buildings). I wish I could continue the walk up the street :-). Fun to be "right there" with you. -Kim
Juneau Alaska (pronounced June-oh) is a small community snug in the southeast panhandle of Alaska. Surrounded by sea, mountains, and ice fields, roughly 30,000 adventurous souls call it home. The City and Borough of Juneau is larger than the state of Rhode Island, and is the only landlocked state capital in the United States (Hawaii being waterlocked). This area was originally a favorite fishing area of the Tlingit people, while the city was founded around the discovery of gold in the 1880s. Today the top employers are government, tourism, and mining.
