Perched
A closer view of the Bald Eagle perched in a cottonwood with the Mendenhall Glacier in the background. It sat there for well over an hour observing all the activity.

I wonder if he was scoping out lunch, or just posing for you :)
Nice photograph. I never see Bald Eagles here in my backyard which is where they would have to be for me to get their picture. I don't see any turkeys either which has been high on the list of "new" birds for some blogger friends. I don't have any thing close to a glacier either and for that I am grateful.
