Cool! I have never seen a photo of an eagle carrying nesting materials, so this is interesting, as well as a beautiful shot, with the two birds in silhouette against that blue, blue sky!
Juneau Alaska (pronounced June-oh) is a small community snug in the southeast panhandle of Alaska. Surrounded by sea, mountains, and ice fields, roughly 30,000 adventurous souls call it home. The City and Borough of Juneau is larger than the state of Rhode Island, and is the only landlocked state capital in the United States (Hawaii being waterlocked). This area was originally a favorite fishing area of the Tlingit people, while the city was founded around the discovery of gold in the 1880s. Today the top employers are government, tourism, and mining.

Very nice in flight and action photo.
Keeper of stories,
do you know the eagle’s tale?
Will you tell me now?
Pick Either Sky—or Both!
First Sky
Second Sky
I think it's amazing that a seagull would chase an eagle. That sounds very brave to me.
I guess it's nest building time, eh? Great snap!
It is funny how the smaller birds chase the larger birds and all the larger one has to do is turn around and say "BOO!". haha!! MB
Beautiful silhouette shot, and with the whorls of clouds in the background.
Great to see you posting again!
